Material Distribution Specialist

Arizona G&T Cooperatives is seeking candidates for the position of Material Distribution Specialist. This position will rotate between our warehouse in Benson, AZ and the Apache Generating Station in Cochise, AZ. This position is responsible for maintaining and managing optimal physical inventory levels of all materials, supplies, parts, tools and equipment stored in multiple AEPCO warehouses.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:

• Maintaining accurate records of all materials, supplies, parts, tools and equipment stored in warehouse locations.
• Preparing accurate inventory activity reports.
• Receiving, records and issues all materials, supplies, parts, tools and equipment to various departments.
• Determining and monitoring appropriate levels of stock/non-stock materials, supplies, parts, tools and equipment.
• Inspecting all shipments of supplies delivered to the Cooperative, recording condition and notifying appropriate personnel of any damages.
• Packaging and delivering all materials, supplies, parts, tools and equipment for internal or external delivery.
• Performing physical count and reconciliation of all warehouse inventory items.

Minimum requirements are High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum two years of experience at electric utility or similar industrial environment, working in inventory management and warehouse operations utilizing a fully integrated database for material transactions. Candidates should also have demonstrated proficient knowledge of inventory control record keeping (material receipts, issues, transfers, physical counts, storage location maintenance, etc.). Candidates should also have a valid state drivers license and have strong computer skills.

Salary: $30.54/ hour
