Tito & Pep is a contemporary neighborhood bistro that encapsulates the spirit of Tucson and the southwest. We aim to fill a need within mid-town’s classic neighborhoods for quality food and beverage with exceptional service in a convivial and relaxed atmosphere. Our goal is to serve our neighbors and in due course establish ourselves as an institution woven into the fabric of one of Tucson most vibrant areas. Our dishes will be no more than a few carefully chosen ingredients, used in collaboration to highlight and enhance their natural flavors and textures. A main focus of the culinary experience of Tito and Pep will be a mesquite fired hearth imparting a flavor of smoke that is an essence of our local culinary history. Applying over 20 years of experience and techniques gained across the U.S. and abroad, Chef/Owner John Martinez will draw from the multi-cultural history of the region and his travels to utilize the local pantry to create cuisine that is vibrant and delicious.
